Tagliatelle with fresh tomato sauce
We need:
1/2 cup of tagliatelle
1 tomato
1/2 onion
2 teaspoons of olive oil
salt
fresh ground black pepper
For the garnish:
basil leaves
Preparation:
In a big frying pan heat 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and saute chopped onion until it turns gold. Add the grated tomato, salt, fresh grind black pepper and leave them to simmer, until the sauce sets.
Meanwhile in a casserole with boiling water put the tagliatelle, salt and the remaining oil. Boil them as long as the packaging suggests and strain them. Put them again in the casserole, pour over the tomato sauce and mix .
Serve garnishing with basil leaves and accompany with 1 cup of salad.
