We need:

6 ounces salmon steaks
3/4 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 limes, juiced
1/2 marinated roasted red peppers, with liquid
1/4 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/4 large tomato, cut into thin wedges
1/4 lime, sliced

1-1/2 teaspoons olive oil
Ground allspice to taste
Ground cinnamon to taste
Ground cumin to taste
White sugar to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Preperation:

1. In a non-reactive bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, roasted red pepper, garlic, allspice, cinnamon, cumin, sugar, salt and pepper.

2. Place salmon steaks in bowl, and rub with the mixture. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 60 minutes.

3. Preheat the broiler. Arrange salmon steaks on a medium broiler pan, and broil 4 to 5 minutes on each side, until flesh is easily flaked with a fork.

4. Mix tomato wedges and green onions in a small bowl.

5. Serve salmon with the tomato mixture and lettuce. Garnish with lime wedges.
